Her Lilies

Garden walls enclose a nostalgic beauty
The colors, so sweet, so ignorant to the pain
Lilies mocked me with their lively faces
The swing devoid of a laughing sister

The colors, so sweet, so ignorant to the pain
Those lilies, so alive, awaken a burning anger inside me
The swing devoid of a laughing sister
Her lilies always held terrible premonitions

Those lilies, so alive, awaken a burning anger inside me
Her voice is ringing in my ears, though I know she is gone
Her lilies always held terrible premonitions
This flower of death made her suffering long

Her voice is ringing in my ears, though I know she is gone
I held her hand as she died; I cried, but now I cannot
This flower of death made her suffering long
I make sure they are ripped to shreds before I leave

I held her hand as she died; I cried, but now I cannot
Lilies mocked me with their lively faces
I make sure they are ripped to shreds before I leave
Garden walls enclose a nostalgic beauty
