Imagination
Imagine all the possibilities
of a single sheet of paper.
The pencil glides like a figure skater performing on the ice,
soft scratching sounds it makes.
Ideas flow from my fingertips;
I pour my heart out onto that paper.
The paintbrush glides like a figure skater performing on the ice;
swirling, whirling,
mixing, twirling.
You may say it’s small and dull and insignificant,
but I see its potential;
I see shapes, colors, and new creations.
I see everything and anything that is possible
to satisfy the artist’s need
to make
something beautiful.
