death: it comes like a wool blanket
warming me from a bitterly cold existence
rocking me to sleep
lulling me away from life
and its unforgivable injustices
death: it comes as a promise
crackling like a family fireplace
whispering its love to me
cupping my head in its hands
staring deep, deep into my eyes
death: it holds me when I cry
it calms my wrenching stomach
slows my rapidly beating heart

I really liked this, it is pretty interesting to see how your writing just flows together like that. It was very well written.
