Death Is Close
Light in the trees,
The birds' screams.
A flash of black,
Don't look back.
A drop of red,
The wolves will tread.
The naked eye,
Will not cry.
At the sight of death,
It is close...
The Black Wolf runs,
He jumps then spun
All to face the evil one.
He growls the other snaps
They face each other until a loud "CRACK!"
They turned to see a white wolf pack.
With wings and white fur, paw steps so silent
They knew that death would come and take the evil one
They sat to watch as the two wolves resumed.
Black and Silver coats, they intertwine
As they fight to the death, and as so a glass of wine
A drop of blood hits the clear snow, as Black stood over Silver
And it was Death, Black had to over throw.
Blood dripped from his jaws, red and luscious
And the wolf angels came to take up the atrocious
Looks of Silver, who was light in the fur but heart was black
And Black was of pure heart, to live another generation....
