my heart beats to a different beat
I'm in a different time zone

Im just trying to figure out where I am
I don't know these other people

I was just with my friends a few hours ago
now there are these strangers

I stand here alone
Everything's rushing around me

but somehow I seem to stand still
time goes by

without me
makes me feel awkward

suddenly time stops
I begin to run

or my body does
for I have no control over myself

then it all stops
everything

everyone falls down around me
so I begin to walk

then I walk faster
then I begin to jog

jog and write my poem
but now its time to run

so im gonna let the paper go
on the count of three
