"Come Back to us!!" we cry!
but NO...
nothing
works,
nothing will ever
CHANGE.

A cold, dark
prison cell,
surrounds
your heart
and soul,
that once danced to a summer beat...
but like a dark, ominous
cloud
covers
a sunny flower,
this fortress of a cell
shadows your heart...

We try to bring it down
but IT spits back words of
spite and
evil...

And your heart
can no longer dance,
your soul i
s sucked of all life...

and the fortress grows stronger each willing day,

IT

Sends evil troops forth
to envelope your ENTIRE world

to
Hard,
cold
stone.

I wrote this piece in 8th grade, almost four years ago and just recently uncovered it in my desk drawers. I post it here because this piece of my history deserves, I think, a little air.
