I wake up in the morning
The sunrises and I go outside
Yesterday I was a little kid
Now I'm a grown adult
I didn't realize that much time passed by
I just seen a bright light and time changed
That's an indication I'm growing up
Yesterday my sky was filled with rain
During that time I was a little kid
It was time for me to change
Now I must carry my own medical kit
Time does pass by fast
Everything I did helped me mature and grow
The kid I use to be is the past
The maturity is all I need to show
I know my new life will be okay
For me today is a new day
