A Tribute to the Sea

Oh,thou majestic swelling tide
Moving with fluid,wondrous pride
Upon this barren stretch of sand
Touching it lightly with your hand.
From where thou comest no one knows
And no one knowest where thou goes
You hide your secrets deep within
Your chambers,caves,and coral inns.
You move the hearts and souls of men
Calming their mind with your unseen hand
And hundreds,thousands wish to be
Like you, wild, beautiful and free.

This poem is short but captures so much in itself! Makes me want to go there.... seems so peaceful.
This piece was inspired by the Pacific Ocean, and the rest and restoration I receive when I am at the beach.
