Filial Enlightenment
Though we may call them preachers
Parents are our greatest teachers
We may find their love is ample
And follow then their good example
Or condemn their ways as twisted
Not remembering that the Almighty our ways too has listed
We say their heads are hollow
And that there ways we'll never follow
We ignore and choose to exclude
That which our affair would surely conclude
To recognize that their mistakes we must not replicate
But instead appreciate
For they've given us everything we must not do
So from this day forth, let your soul shine true.
