Harsh Nights
I spend today thinking about the past
Sometimes I wonder if the happiness will last
I messed up big when I was young
But now I have a chance to change what I have done
Drugs are all around
The alcohol makin’ my head spin round and round
Nothing’s making a sound
Everything’s kicking in
The next thing I do will be a sin
Rollin’ on that e, hittin’ that pipe, trippin’ those ‘shrooms
Passin’ it around in the circle, everybody takes a hit
In the time of all this vain, the drugs, they numb, and stop the pain.
