Poetry is meaningful and opinionated.
Poetry is the rhythmic expression of thought.
Poetry is the friend to pour your heart out to.
Poetry is the tears you cry.
Poetry is music composed of not of sounds, but words.
Poetry exposes the soul of the author.
Poetry is a soulful dance,
Leaping through the reader’s mind.
Poetry is truth, whether fiction or otherwise.
Poetry is not simply words scratched on paper,
But an emotional escape, providing solace to both the writer and the audience.
