We Knew
To all the things we thought we knew
Written down on shredded notes
The life we had before we grew
Night swiftly, slowly drew
He packed empty, loney coats
And all those things he thought he knew
Birds she raised, away they flew
Future filled with leaving quotes
Life they had before they grew
Wind whistled, branches blew
The parting souls stir then floats
Remembered things they thought they knew
Traveled 'round without a clue
Sailed away on baggaged boats
Objects lost before I grew
All our time, now overdue
In our minds false memories gloat
To all the things we thought we knew
The life we had before we grew
