Make or Break
Telling him how you feel,
Is giving him the ability to destroy you,
But trusting him not to.
And once he destroys you,
There’s no going back,
It will linger.
Don’t change who you are to make him happy,
He should automatically feel that way.
If he doesn’t feel the same,
Don’t try and convince him
Because there could be somebody trying to convince you.
You need to realize when to hold on or when to let go,
Strive for better,
Want better without any guarantees.
The tears are no longer worth it;
Don’t cry about something that never happened.
Smile about the things that will.
Don’t let him make or break you.
And always remember how it feels.
