Motions
She's going through the motions, she thinks they want to see
She's playing the part
She thinks she should be
Her smile's an illusion
Her laughter, but a tape
She wishes she could tell them
But knows there's no escape
There's a stranger in the mirror
And not a friend in sight
If she doesn't break free soon
She's afraid she'll loose the fight
She's about to share but her lips are sealed
And a shadows stolen the key
She's forced to stay in this persona
Of a foreign enemy
She prays that one day the lock will be broken
And her story will be told
But for now I'll play the part
Of the girl who fits the mold
