Cracked concrete
Cloudky skies
The steel mill down the street
Car exhaust invades my eyes
From this road that never sleeps
Darkness deepens
Stars shine bright
I lay in bed, tucked warm and tight
While sirens wail a way into the night
The sweetest lullaby
