Fantasizations
In a dream
I wore an amethyst crown,
I was queen of the land.
Floating in a hot air balloon,
over a vast green valley,
a variety of animals
accompanied me.
Below us,
vibrant sunflowers flourished,
tall acacia trees shaded the flamingos
bathing in the calm river.
We gazed at the distant sky
the clouds, a motion picture.
The beautiful sunset,
each pastel shade bleeding into the next
Violet humming birds flew into the waning sun
and the flamingos danced in the river.
As the sun went down
golden stars painted the sky
Going no direction, we floated on.
I never wanted to wake.
