Last Words

The last words uttered from your mouth,
Held so much power and we fell South.
Those words for this eternal endeavor,
To change our lives forever.
Those were the last words until infinity for you,
The last words until oblivion for me too.
Those last two words everyone knew,
Were the symbolic traditional phrase, "I do."

Hey! I'm knew and I just got an account so this is my first published work. I am taking a Creative Writing class and our prompt was, "Last Words." I usually dwell in the negative emotions so I tried out something happy and enjoyed the outcome. Hope you like it and don't be too harsh! ????
