admiration
I walk along as my toes sink into the sand.
Looking down at the footprints left before me,
Varying from big
To small
To big again.
I feel the midst against my skin,
And look out onto the vast ocean.
The sun beats down onto the water
As it begins to rise.
The water glistens beneath the sky.
As the seagulls swoop and fly.
I stare out and wonder how many may be staring back,
And admiring the beauty I see before me.
For there is nowhere in this world
I would rather be.
