All of these classes I have with him
I hate him
I like him
I'm confused
He makes me so angry
like no one else can do
His sarcastic comments cut through
my so called "strong" defenses
Usually i hold back
Hold back my anger
Hold back my embarrassment
Hold back my feelings
I'm not a violent person
I do not hit or kick
But this morning something happened
This morning something clicked
I looked at him full in the face
As his eyes, they mocked my anger
I picked up a paperback
And it hit his arm with a smack
I don't remember the words I said
But then I turned tail and fled
My friends ran after and comforted me
and now in Second period My anger unforgotten I fell his gaze upon my face
I will hold back no longer
