Orange

January 16, 2009

Orange, a desire held up
Reserved
Like oxygen in a tank
Realizing the frustration of things undone
That goes unheard.

Orange, desire born
Into every heart.
Delivering determination
To the soles of your feet.

Orange, dull
Radiating pain.
That sinks into muscles,
Watching the world
Continually trip and fall
Drowning in failed solutions.

Ember orange fury
Sherbet desire
Radiant neon pain
Swirled together to

lights the world
Aglow with
The imprint of passion,
A reflection of you.
