I'll Never Forget
I’ll never forget that car ride I took to the hospital
Or the way my mom’s voice trembled before her C-section
I’ll never forget feeling so helpless, scared, and excited all at once
Or the constant trips to the cafeteria to relieve the stress
I’ll never forget the ecstatic vibe when we were welcomed into the room
Or the way my heart fluttered when I saw that bundle in my mom’s arms
I’ll never forget seeing everybody in tears of awe
Or the debates of whose turn it was to hold him next
I’ll never forget cradling my brother in my arms for the first time
Or the way his blue eyes and curly locks fit together so flawlessly
I’ll never forget memories now of watching him grow
Or the fights, laughs and tears that are yet to come.

This is a beautiful piece! It made me scared at first because I wasn't sure what was going to come, but by the end I had a smile on my face (:
I particularly like, at the end, where you look forward to the years in the future. Best of luck! Keep writing.
