Ambiance of a Mother
The joy I get,
the love I feel.
My appreciation for you
is almost surreal.
I couldn’t imagine a world without you,
a day in my life I don’t look forward to.
Your caring heart,
your cheerful soul.
Doing for others before doing for you.
You have my back through and through,
and no one can do it quite like you.
Your smile and grace can’t be replaced.
Your statuesque aura goes unsuppressed.
Loving you is never a test,
you give me the best and nothing less.
My love for you just grows and grows,
till the day that God calls us home.
I never will forget the times we shared,
like the time when you laughed cause I fell down the stairs.
Reminiscing about things we recall,
and amazed at how we survived it all.
Times got tough and our relationship was rough,
but we made it through all thanks to you.
You always know just what to do,
and I thank you for being you.
I hope you see how I truly feel,
my love for you is a big deal.
In my mind and forever on,
