Rice
Rice
The white, sparkling dots
In a bowl made of china
Seem so simple and plain and pure.
And they are.
But their potential is only limited
By what the imagination can offer.
Smooth salt crystals
Are sprayed slowly
Into the bowl.
A glass of warm milk
Is put on the white table.
The peaceful snow is slowly falling outside,
The hunger inside is growing.
Now the white, sparkling dots
In the bowl made of china
Seem so original and inviting.
They seem to be shining brighter than the sun.
And they are.
