Endless War

Sunlight is bright
Weakness is might
We all have some fight
To make this right

Everyone is turning
Everything is burning
We are always learning
Life is always churning

We can all see
That is should be
You and me
Be finally free

They sing a sad song
But I know what’s wrong
We can’t take long
Do not prolong!

It has that ring
That life will bring
And force us to sing
For the proud king

Sunlight is bright
To a captive of night
Winning this fight
Will take all our might

The author's comments:
I wrote this after I lost one of my best friends, and it was hard. But after I wrote this poem, I apologized and talked to her, and we're cool now. Many people have the same story, but this is mine.
