Getting There
I see a painted canvas with a map that shows you the way,
And an ocean of possibilities just waiting to be explored,
By the one object to scared to go out and see.
I feel the happiness that exists,
And the one thing that never ends,
But yet I still hold fast and am trapped.
I believe in possibilities and how it maps out the eternity for that one thing,
That one thing that just wants to move forward.
I remember the beach on that cloudy, warm day in Maine,
And the adventures just waiting to be explored
Even with the times of trouble ahead.
I am guided to the adventures that make me free,
Yet I am still trapped.
I am the person, who wants it all,
But cant quite get there.
