I am

January 13, 2009
By Kaela Heitger, Hudson, IN

What am I, why am I here, what am I for
am I a hollow shell that wonders the earth trying to blend in
am I here for the entertainment of those around me
or am I part of a dream acting how an individual wants me to
no I am more
my soul is a small childs laughter
it is a lone wolfs howl and a mother bears defensive paw it is a curiouse monkey and a clever fox
my body has been weaved together by the strains of the past and is being built up for the adventures of the futuer
I am
happy and sad the good and evil the pretty and ugly the damned and blessed the restless and calm
I am
the releived and troubled the lover and the heart brocken
I am
