Darkness trailing through the abyss
A couple tied by bonds of fate
A new life's light leading the way
A baby born of sin and spite
Grows a child of unity and delight
Loving arms embracing a small soul
With joy is brought great dispair
A mother's sacrifice
A child healthy, A father's nightmare
Without remorse, without resolve
Like a candle's flame
A life filickers out
