I like others laugh and I like being funny
I like being clever and I like being punny
but now I hate how people think of me
now no one takes me seriously
I’m bothered and I feel ignored
my true feelings have been accidently stored.
don’t take me wrong I like to play.
but when serious, I feel like attention is not paid
I know for a fact one of my struggles is attention
and I know my span is not a long extension.
there are five languages of love,
giving and getting gifts, acts of service, time
spending, words of affirmation, and physical touch.
most people like a little bit of each, but there is one or two for each person are more favorable and the strongest.
my two most favorable are being
acknowledged (words of affirmation)
and hugs (physical touch)
if yours are different,
it doesn’t mean we love you any less
or you’re less loved
but sometimes that’s still how I feel
they’re just showing the ways that they feel loved.
at least that’s what I think. and believe, but who am I to say that? as of now I barely feel like I deserve to be the 13 year old girl I am. or even a person existing on the planet. ~kylee
