The Jagged Road
The path grows darker
As whispers of death sweep in
Along the Jagged Road we walk.
It has many turns, twists, and dips;
Surprises, pain, and scarce options,
Each tempting from Deaths lips
Woe be to the ones who were stricken
Woe be to the ones who fell
Woe be to the ones who listened
There's a light at the end,
Don't give up, friend
Along the Jagged Road we walk

I was inspired to write this after reading an article about suicide and depression. I hope poeple get that this was not only a poem of dedication to the ones that didn't win their fight with depression, but that it is also a peom that may help someone who is suffering from depression now.
