No matter who you are the going will get rough.
Decision is what makes your life, even if it's tough.
Though it may be easy, the crowd's not what you follow.
As you make these choices, you lose friends. Your life is hollow.

Struggles never cease throughout your teenaged years,
Alone in your bedroom you shed many tears
Smiles forced throughout the day
Turn to frowns and fade away.
When you're finally on your own, the pain will come, enough to make you groan.

Though they may not notice, people can be cruel.
They're trying to fit in and achieve looking cool.
Friends who you thought you could trust
turn around and are unjust.

There is no reason, it appears,
to endure throughout these years.
But please do not feel down
because your life will turn around.

If you choose what's right,
you will win the fight.
You have passed the test
now it's your turn to be blessed.

The author's comments:
I was sitting on my couch one day when i had a feeling to just let my feelings all out on paper. When i started writing i realized how much i had kept inside. I hope that everyone realizes that everybody has a rough time and that if you can stay happy and endure than you will be blessed.

This paper was heart-breaking to read. A lot is true, but the author can't say all zoos are like that. There are good zoos and bad zoos, it depends. And also sometimes the animals can't live in the wild for some reason. But I its true that we imprison animals for our entertainment; it makes you-or at least me-feel ashamed. The zoo business is an endless bad cycle. Animals are caught, bred and then what? How do we send them off?

I think that the author should go to the Wild Animal Park in Escondido, California. Its a huge park with biiig cages/enclosures for the animals. One such enclosure is several acres for all the African herbivores! And it has programs for breeding wild animals and releasing them. All zoos should be like it.
