Sing with Me, Muse, and through me tell the story
Of the kingdom filled with glory
Of the thought of the newborn baby
Until she was taken and lost forever, maybe

Taken by a witch
Who only wants her hair that makes her rich
Her hair, full with a magical power
And locked in a tower

All she had to do was sing
The hair would bring
Young age to the witch
Rapunzel just wants to ditch

Only wanted for her hair
Once cut turns its powers turns bare
With hair as bright as the sun
How she dreamed to run

A thief comes across her hair
As she ties him up in a chair
Rapunzel hits him with a pan
She comes up with a plan

Take me to the floating lights
In the wondrous night
Chased by many creatures
Rapunzel became a teacher

Everyone believed in her dream
To see the lights gleam
The thief captured
Rapunzel forced to be enraptured

The witch with a cold heart
Thought she was so smart
Pretending to be the girl
Made the injured thief hurl

At the witch
Who wasn’t so rich
The girl returned to her castle
The thief said she was worth the hassle

Rapunzel once taken
Now awakened
with freedom and love
With the beauty of a dove
