Blind the Body

Slowly
I’m drifting out of orbit
away from where I’ve always been
Ripping the cycle from my skin
I don’t want to know where I’m going
Just that it’s away
Redundancy has made me nauseous
Swallowing me up
Then sucking me dry
Slowly
I’m drifting out of orbit
I don’t want to talk
I want to slip out of this world
My skull
And these tangled emotions
Let my feet leave the ground
I’m going drift to the edge of the universe
And keep on going

The author's comments:
I always wonder if the universe ends somewhere. If there's a place where you can step of the ledge and then fall out of exsistance. Not in a scary way, but like just washing the world off you.
