Music is my Only Medicine

Music is my only medicine.
The chaos of the day fades as the first beats begin.
As I open my ears,
my mind,
my heart,
All my problems fall apart.
I’m left with a better outlook than before,
And there’s no doubt that I can handle what’s in store.
As long as I can hear the beats,
feel the rhythm,
know the tune,
I’ll always be able to make it through.
Music is my only medicine.
