the truth
the truth hides behind my disguise
hidden so well
no one can tell
the secrets held
the line between right and wrong
blurred so much
I cannot tell
whether I’m in heaven or a fiery hell
I hide the real me
so no one can see the truth
no one can hurt me
let no one get close enough
they inch towards you
just enough for you to tell them to back it up
but hiding has it’s downfalls
it gets lonely when you have no one to trust
it gets tough when your overwhelmed
and have no one to tell
you eventually break
your human
there’s only so much you can take
hiding all this pain cause major heart break
so the only thing that will set me free is
the truth
