Lay Into Me

To roam among the sweet refreshments of color
tinted with the reflection of beauty beyond selection
Double crossing the ways you knew forever, but disdained
only to find another
that finds you, attracted to me
and with this fatal meeting, it’s me that you’re falling for
One heartbeat, and we are drawn together as one
Our differences laid aside, we stand before each other,
golden. Displaying your worth, my reasoning
You run your hands along my skin
with the tenderness of a gentle breeze
that warms a heart so deep as mine
A tear escapes from my eye,
and you understand
A finding such as great as this could only make me wish for more
.............
lay beside me
from me
hold me
release me
..............
I enjoy your presence as much as breathing
for every breath I take in brings me closer to you
sincere to perfection, this can’t be wrong
The way my heart calls out for yours
and yours for mine
so many hidden places you are opening up of me
It’s so new, so sudden.
All of what I need to have
the fascination that I unwillingly suppress escapes my lips
and trembling I am, they come down onto yours
and I can feel that you need this too
...............
So why don’t you
...............
lay beside me
with me
for me
into me . . .
