I feel desolate
Desperate
Left behind
Im so confused
Im lost in my own mind
The pain?
Too much to bear
To handle all alone
I had someone
Someone to care and to share
But
Perhaps I gave up too soon
I lost what I could once have had
Now I stare
Longingly
At what could have once been
What my foolishness, my unsecurity lost me
And I stay here
Now
Penace for my mistakes
Perhaps that’s how its meant to be
