I knew you wouldn’t let me,
Even half the times I agreed.
I wasn’t a fan of your surprises,
But then again you had the box full of prizes.
I tried to get your attention,
Without releasing any of my tensions.
Yet you never looked my way,
Only demanding that I will obey.
So now I’m leaving the nest,
Thinking that I was only blessed.
You’d shut down my only existence,
Making me find my own distance.
