Houdini
Where are you now, huh?
Why can’t I see you.
Gone again, back and forth,
Like a wave from the ocean blue.
Never staying when I need you
Always leaving me alone
I try hard to believe you
When you say you’ll come home
Yet here I am again on a Saturday night
I try to call you ‘cause nothings gone right.
All I get is your answering machine
So I leave one
I put the phone down
Because I am finally done.
You are Houdini
With your great disappearing act
So I am leaving you here now
and never looking back.
