The Sun Casts A Smile On The Generous Earth
The sun casts a smile
On the generous earth
While the leaves start to rustle
As now goes by the hearse
She takes them with pleasure;
No doubts, no looks of despair
But did they wish to be taken?
Did they ask to be there?
The night creeps behind them
And their light slowly fades
But there's no need to worry for
He makes no mistakes
As our last words are spoken
And the soil makes it dark
When the leaves finally settle
We're at one with our hearts
