When I Close My Eyes

When I close my eyes
I pray you'll be there when they open
letting me know im not alone,
to face a world going in no direction.
I don't know what my life will be like tomorrow,
but i want you here with me.
Through wrong and right,
always by my side.
So when I finally open my eyes,
you may not be there.
Yet, one thing is certain,
I'm not alone
