Do you think of a single mother who struggles to get by?

Well I hate to say it but the comic books lie.
This is who you would see if you looked through my eyes.
A middle age woman about five foot two.
Who always greets me with a kiss and a hug.
I hate to say it but she’s even called me love bug.
I love this woman til the very end.
She’s not just any fish in the sea.
She’s the one who means the most to me.
She will give me her last meal just so I don’t starve.
This love will last even when we’re together in the stars.
She has an obsession with anything that has to do with Mickey Rourke, Prince, or Purple.
Sometimes she even laughs like Earcle.
But no matter what I wont let anything hurt her.
Because this magical woman is my mother.
Without her I would be frail and weak.
But with her guidance I will be a man that boys will aspire to be
