The Situation Of Love

January 10, 2009

Every time we shared the same view, the horizon begins to discolorate
Unborn feelings begin to generate
The hate that I had on my plate begins to mediate
Then I begin to feel the butterflies in my stomach
The feelings I thought had left the back door
Start knocking the front door of my heart
I wanna open the door but I know that
The lies, disappointment, and the unfairness might come along as well
I begin to wonder whether you did those things because you loved me
Or just to satisfy me and call it a day
The love we once claimed
Is now the love that the begin to deny
The first day our lips touched
Was the day that our souls connected
But every time you failed to stay connected
The networks in my heart begin to fail
Love is to suppose to be unconditional
So why has our love become restricted?
Confusion and Delusion activate feelings
That I would never originate
So then you begin to wonder
Where the love we both shared disappeared to...
I tell you where it disappeared to
It left the moment I began to doubt you
The moment I felt that your security
Would only lead me to a disability
Was the day your love meant nothing to me
Like a word without a definition
