Who is

January 9, 2009
By Nikki Tabibian, Los Angeles, CA

Inspired, interrupted, tender
Who loves to lye wet grass and listen to the earth’s heartbeat, bask in the suns warm embrace and wander into the alluring slumbers of the daydream
Who needs food, freedom and love
Who wonders why the skies are forever blue
Who pretends to please
Who worries that sharp winds will blow the pedals off the delicate daisy, leaving it lonely and loveless
Who fears pain
Who understands life is cruel, chaotic, confound and beautiful
Who dreams of the fresh smoky scent of renewal after a rainstorm
Who smiles when she thinks about the chorus of a child’s laughter
