Imagine not having imagination
Imagine not being able to think
To dream, to wish
No thoughts, no goals
Ideas will be gone
Would we be potatoes, stones?
Squishy, brainless masses.
Could we invent?
Could we create?
Would we fly?
Would we swim to the deepest depths?
What would artist do?
Could Beethoven write his songs?
Would the Mona Lisa have eyebrows?
How could we live?
Could we live?

I wrote this piece for a school project and I am planning on writing more just for kicks.

The goal is not about living forever, the goal is about creating something that can.

Nice poem! It would suck if we had no imagination at all. The world would be pretty dull! Keep up the good work!

Can you check out my poems as well? Thanks.
