The Red Salamander
Red Salamander
The red salamander
so red so vibrant
huddling in the darkness
so easy to catch
but slippery and
hard to let go
The red salamander
so helplessly delicate
yet so very complex
eyes gazing, lungs expanding
it stares at us
as we watch him
The red Salamander
scurries erratically
into another corner
attempting to hide
The red salamander
so easy to catch but if you
catch him and name him
its hard to let go
