Weight Training
Next week brings the end of weight training
The end of monotonous lifting and pulling
and pretending to be hard at work
The end of watching a gaggle of girls
follow around the pretty boys who strive (and strain) to impress
The end of “you’re doing that wrong”
and the end of me not even caring.
The glorious conclusion of a class forced upon me
is nearly here, mere days away,
with just a written test between me and the door.
