Guilt

Sleep and happiness
Are stripped from my mind
A phoenix
From the quilt of despair
Pressure builds upon my neck
Like oxygen disappearing
From the premises
My mind is obscured
Like a lost leaf
Searching for a home
This horrid grudge
Is gnawing my lungs
Heart beats
Gradually becoming faster
Like an army of roaches
Crawling through my spine
Thorns pressed upon my flesh
This pain will never end
Until the lies have ceased

The author's comments:
I made this poem to exspress my idea of guilt! Many people have certain Feelings that they cannot express on paper. So i decided to make the poem based of something from the mind.
