The day was a dark cloud
Unforgettable and different
My eyes were oceans
Rich with water.
The stream ran down my face
Tickling my cheeks
As it drowned my heart
Thinking of his life.
It all happened too quickly
I looked at my mom
She was a statue
And I knew he was dead.
