Little eyes open,
To say hello,
To explore this world,
Little eyes wonder,
Things never thought,
Dreams never too high,
Little eyes smile,
And dance with no music,
Sing with no reason,
Little eyes touch,
The hearts that are torn,
The lives that seem crushed,
Little eyes learn,
From what you’ve seen and heard,
To understand what is not seen,
Little eyes live,
One step at a time,
Remember forgiveness,
And little eyes love,
In your heart to the fullest,
Just like my own for you.
