Family is a forever-changing morsel.
It is old and yet it is young.
It is loving, but sometimes there is hate among the love.
It can be mature, but other times it is immature.
It is strict when needed, but laid-back when it is not.

Family is a tiger when there is war between TV channels and mashed potatoes.

It is a mouse during prayer at dinnertime and blessing at bedtime.

It is a dog, playful and mostly comforting when wanted.

It is a cat when a diversion must be made, and when strategy is needed.

It is a flower, consisted of different members who keep it together.

Family is a teddy bear, who always listens and is always there.

This is, in a way, a love poem because it explains the many ways that families show love for each other.
